Every child deserves clean, new pajamas, especially when our nights turn cold here in Tustin. Too many children in our community don't have the luxury of owning pajamas, especially now due to economic problems brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. When it's time to go to bed they wear old t-shirts, school clothes or just their underwear.
Let's make sure these children know their community cares for them.
THANK YOU TUSTIN!
Your generosity allowed us to exceed our goal of 700 pair with a total of 951 pairs donated!
Thank you for help us bring smiles to many children and seniors throughout our community this holiday season! There were 951 smiles at bedtime in Tustin this year because new PJs are a luxury that many Tustin area families cannot afford.
The pajamas were passed on to Families Together OC for families living in Tustin with limited means; all of the teen residents of Hope Harbor and the soon-to-be new Boys Home at the OC Rescue Mission; every Little Brother and Little Sister in the Tustin through Big Brothers/Big Sisters and their siblings; vulnerableTustin area seniors in the Friends Feeding Seniors program; the Tustin Family & Youth Center's Holiday Basket program, the youth & seniors served by Sunday Supper, children of all ages through the Single Mom's Ministry and the Waymakers Tustin Youth Shelter.
THANK YOU Aldersgate United Methodist Church, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Tustin Area Woman's Club, the Tustin High School Dance Teams, the Tustin Host Lions Club, Orchard Hills School for PJs.
